Palace
The palace was the essential part and the most palatial part of the royal palatinate. It was also in the Stauf´s palatinate in Cheb. With a big ceremonial hall, two chambers with toilets and fire places and maybe also a small home chapel. It was built in the north-eastern part of the built-up area over the rocky steep. Only the northern wall and the eastern wall with Roman windows and the wall of the southern part in the south have been preserved. There was likely a direct entry to the upper floor of the chapel.
