U.S. Army Memorial Ypsilonka
The memorial stands at the intersection of the roads leading to Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lázně.
The 10-metre tall marble pyramid bearing the names of 639 fallen soldiers from the 1st Division was brought to Cheb by U.S. soldiers on 12 June 1946. It was erected just outside of the town at the intersection of the roads leading to Mariánské Lázně and Karlovy Vary. The unveiling ceremony of the memorial took place in autumn 1946.
