National Bank
Today, a branch of Komerční banka may be found in the building.
In 1906, a branch of an Austro-Hungarian bank purchased plot No. 135/1 and the construction lots with houses No. 20 a 354 at the corner of Obrněné brigády and 26. dubna Street. In connection with the contemplated construction of a new bank building, the town council decided to carry out a fundamental reconstruction of the entire 26. dubna Street. In 1907, the bank branch erected a one-storey building on the site and opened it to the public on 12 October 1907. After 1918, the building housed the branch of the Czech National Bank. Between the years 1996 and 1998, the building was rebuilt to accommodate the needs of Komerční banka and another floor was added. The reconstruction respected the Classical articulation of the original facade.
