Gym
The building of the gymnasium formed the border of Komenský Park in the direction of Sládkova Street. Interestingly, it was originally constructed as a synagogue in 1870. However, after the temple had been intentionally desecrated, the building was converted into a gymnasium and completed in 1871. The gymnasium was demolished after 1945. The style of the Classical structure characterised by sacral and antique shapes was adjusted to the Rudolphinum. The interior hall is determined by tribunes supported by Tuscan columns. The builder was probably G. Corompay.
