Chamber of Commerce
At present, a branch of a bank may be found in the building.
The administrative and exhibition building was built in 1899 according to the design of architect G. Wiedermann from Františkovy Lázně in the high-flown style of the Gründer period. The typical architectonic features that may be found on numerous residential and public buildings in Munich include the tall corner tower and the built-in forefront with the gabled roof. The portraits of Emperor Maxmillian, Albert Dürer, Peter Vischer, and Adam Kraft painted by August Brömse from Františkovy Lázně on the facade underline the traditional commercial ties with Nurnberg. The exhibition hall is decorated with elements symbolising transport, trades, industry, mining, spa towns, as well as with the coat of arms of the individual towns, trades and crafts.
